Crow Talking to Owls

Watercolour painting from an antique manuscript of the Arabic animal fables Kalila wa Dimna. Here the crow spy talks to the king of the owls and his ministers. The stories are around 2000 years old - this particular version is though to be from Egypt or Syria (c.1700s).
