 Italian Alchemical painting from an unknown treatise (c.1500).
It depicts the White Queen, representing Mercury. She stands between two trees on whose entwined trunks are pictured ten golden eagles, representing the highest number of distillations. The branches above her head hold the Sun and Moon to signify her dual nature.
